ISLAMABAD: A three-member fact finding committee headed by Cabinet Secretary Abdul Rauf, investigating the hosing down of the crime scene where former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto was assassinated in December 2007, has visited Liaquat Bagh, Rawalpindi and inspected the location of the crime.
the committee visited the location amid tight security. Senior police and security officials from FIA were also present.
The police officers who appeared before the committee were Yaseen Farooq, Saud Aziz, Ashfaq Anwer and Khurram Shehzad.
Earlier, four senior police officers appeared before the committee on Saturday for the second time and were questioned about various aspects of the crime scene.
Sources said the committee asked Aziz that why he has changed his stance and gave clean chit to former director-general Military Intelligence Maj-Gen Nadeem Ijaz.
